Creating a Proposal – Start to Finish

It's never been easier to create amazing solar, battery and electrification proposals. See how in < 3 minutes.

 Steps to Create a Proposal:

  1. Click the + Opportunity button in the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Provide Electricity Bill Details
    Either :
    1. Drag-n-drop a customers pdf bill then select the customers phase (this can not be known off the bill unfortunatly!) then click Create, or
    2. Enter electricity bill details manually and then click Create 

      Note: Create can only be selected once all mandatory inputs (marked with '*') have been input.


  3. Optional: Edit Site for Building or Vehicle Electrification
    If electrification or energy efficiency will be included in the proposal, click the edit site icon to open the Energy Profile – Site Settings popup.

    Enter in mandatory information into all relivant tabs, then click Save changes.

  4. Click the Generate automatic proposals button on the top righ hand side.

    Note: If this button is greyed out / you are not able to click on it, go to your preferences (requires Admin privileges) and configure your automation settings.

    Your proposal will then be created automatically! 😎

  5. Tweak & Share
    Tweak proposal (if required) and share with the customer by clicking Share All.
    Note: The customer can only get the proposal if you enter their email or if you copy a proposal link out into your own email. To check / edit / add the customers email address entered ,see below:



    Things you may want to tweak before you share the proposal with the customer:
    1. For solar: Add solar areas to the property and then panel layouts in the proposal.

    2. Add alternative product options.

    3. Edit of the pricing and control what quote line items the customer sees in your solar proposals.

    4. Set the proposal options to either indicative (Customer call to action = 'Request Quote') or non-indicative (Customer call to action = 'Accept and Sign Proposal).

    5. Create different solar power sizes using power targets.

    6. Toggle Switching.
    7. Edit default payment options
