Create Solar Options With Different Products

Where to Start

Start in the Solar Technology section in the Project Options tab.
If you've not yet made any solar options check out the article: Creating a Solar Design & Proposal (Overview)

Then Follow The Below Simple Steps:

1. Click the Manage Projects button
   
   
2. Click the + New Project button
   
   
3. Select the new product/s you want your new options to use. 
   
   Note: The inverter selection is the inverter manufacturer and not the actual product. This is because the inverter is auto selected. This auto selection can be changed as per the article: Change the Solar Inverter
   Note: when it loads you'll land on the solar panel designer. Note that this new project uses the exact shapes as the previous solar project however what fits in them will be based on the new panel dimentions so you may find the number of panel changes at this point accordingly. Any change to the areas here are independent of any other solar prjects.    Now when you are in the Project Options tab you'll be able to identify the project your in by looking at the product shown in the top left.
4. Then when you need to switch between solar projects or create a new one, you can jump back into the Manage Projects button.
   
   
5. Add the solar options you want from each project by clicking Add using the blue button on the left of the associated option line. Then in the 3D proposal found in the Proposal tab you can toggle between them as shown below:
