What You Need To Do:
After a) the opportunity has been created and b) you have completed setting up the customers energy profile, you have two ways of creating building electrification proposals:
Not sure how to generate an opportunity? - See Creating a Proposal – Start to Finish
Option 1: Automatic = The fastest way to generate your proposals. These are based on your typical costs and products. Automated Proposals can then be edited to cater for any non-typical proposal costs, notes, products etc.
Note: for Automatic Opportunities to work, you need to first setup your automation settings found in the preferences section of the platform.
To see how to edit automated proposals once generated, a) click on the Electrification tab, b) then click on the associated building electrification tab and c) see: How to Use the Budgets (Overview).
Option 2: Manual = Slower but offers a more step by step approach.
The below shows you how to generate the building electrification proposals manually.
- Click on Add Option and follow the sequence as seen in the below image:
Note: Don't see anything or something is missing from the Existing Item dropdown? You will first need to add it to the customer energy profile.
